decide on your question
what information do you need?
Step 2 - Information Seeking Strategies
what are the possible ways I can get information about this question? (internet, book, expert, experience, experiment)
Step 3 - Location and Access
locate sources (get the books, articles, artifacts or materials you need)
where in this source is the information I need? (find the facts )
Step 4 - Use of Information
engage and extract information from your source
take notes, conduct an experiment, do an interview
Step 5 - Synthesis: Putting it all together
organize your information
create a way to share it with others (presentation, poster, oral performance, written report, power point, etc.)
